  • Jessica L. Bryant

    Jessica Bryant is a Member in the firm's Philadelphia office where she is a member of the worker's compensation department. She focuses her practice on the defense of employers and insurance companies in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm and after graduating law school in 2014, Jessica worked at the Bucks County District Attorney's office. At the district attorney's office, she was a member of the Special Victim's Unit where she engaged in the prosecution of offenders charged with sexual offenses, offenses against children and domestic violence.

    Jessica graduated cum laude from Ursinus College in 2011 with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. After graduating, she attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. While at Temple, Jessica was a Note & Comment Editor for the Temple International & Comparative Law Journal. She was also a member of National Trial Team where she competed in multiple competitions. 

    After her first year at Temple, Jessica interned with Magistrate Judge Linda K. Caracappa of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In addition, she completed internships at the Philadelphia District Attorney's office and the Homeless Advocacy Project. Jessica is admitted to the bar in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is an avid Philadelphia sports fan spending considerable time with family and friends at ball games and the Jersey shore.

  • Samuel W. Gidaro

    Samuel Gidaro is a member in the firm’s Philadelphia office where he concentrates his practice in the defense of employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation claims in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an associate at a boutique firm in Center City, Philadelphia where he also concentrated his practice on workers’ compensation. He has successfully defended claims against municipalities, school districts, police departments, hospitals and businesses both large and small. He advises on all aspects of workers’ compensation matters and vigorously represents his clients' interests with an eye toward achieving cost-effective results.

    Samuel received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009, where he graduated cum laude. Between receiving his degree and attending law school, Samuel worked as an accounting project supervisor at Comcast Cable. He also worked as a part-time features writer for scout.com covering the Trenton Thunder, a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees.

    Samuel received his law degree from the University of Indiana Maurer School of Law in 2014, where he also graduated cum laude. While in law school, he served as managing editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, was a finalist in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition and worked as research assistant to Professor Sarah Jane Hughes. During the summer after his first year, he clerked for the Honorable Timothy J. Savage of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

    After graduation, Samuel was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is an active member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, among other professional organizations. Samuel was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® Rising Star[i]from 2019-2024.

    David A. Porter chairs the Workers’ Compensation Department at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC. Previously, he was a partner at a boutique law firm in Philadelphia where, since 2007, he concentrated his practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation litigation in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has devoted his practice to primarily defending employers, businesses, insurance companies, self-insureds and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. Dave is dedicated to analyzing every claim individually and preparing aggressive defense plans that consider the facts of every case. Recognizing the growing trend that cases settle before decision, David's philosophy is to attempt to resolve cases that should be settled as early as possible in the litigation process.

    David earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from Ursinus College. He graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2005 and passed the Bar in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania later that year. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, as well as the New Jersey Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association and Burlington County Bar Association. In 2014 he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section.

    Following admission to the Bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he clerked with Judge Charles Little in the Superior Court Trial Division in Camden, NJ. Following the clerkship, he worked with a New Jersey based firm defending various insurance carriers and employers in medical malpractice, auto accidents, premises liability and workers’ compensation matters.
